Rosé
Beck Pink (Blaufränkisch & Zweigelt) & Grilled Aubergine with Feta
Aromas of summer red fruits and red cherries with a hint of stone fruits. On the palate, clean, zesty and crisp with a balanced acidity and mineral purity. Pairs beautifully with the fresh & tart flavours that the aubergine and feta combo offers.
Red
Elisa Guerin Beaujolais-Villages (Beaujolais) & Pork Rillette
Fruity, Light, and juicy. On the palate, carbo-bubblegum and crushed peppercorn spice, with red berries. The light & juicy nature of this wine lifts the heaviness of a pork rillette and pairs beautifully with the red meat flavours.
White
La Pente de Chavigny (Sauvignon Blanc) & Old Winchester Cheese
Bone-dry & whistle-clean. On the palate, stony minerals, ripe, & a zippy zestiness. Pairs well with a mature crumbly cheese, such as the old Winchester; a mature cheddar with a lovely saline taste similar to Parmesan.
Orange
Salamandre (Grenache Blanc, macerated for 10 days) & Grilled Lemon Sole
Great easy-going orange, perfect for those new to orange wines. Floral aromas, ripe peach notes, and good gentle grip. Compliments grilled, light fish beautifully, especially if grilled with citrus and mediterranean herbs.
