Jurgen Gouws, the producer behind Intellego Wines, is part of the new wave of winemakers in South Africa's Swartland region, with a philosophy of natural and sustainable production. He aims to create fresh and drinkable wines without heavy extraction of new oak barrels, and his fun and informal bottles and labels reflect his goal of making wines that are approachable and accessible to everyone.
Great with goat's cheese & aubergine.
The winery is a family run estate situated in Gols, Burgenland in north east Austria and consists of 15 hectares of biodynamically tended vines, most of which are situated at the Wagram of the Parndorfer Platte, generally considered to be the best site in the region. The estate is run by Judith Beck who inherited the business from her father after having trained at Cos d'Estournel in France and Errazuriz in Chile.
Sour cherry and crunchy red fruit with gentle tannins, and a clean backbone of acidity. No oak.
Give this a try for a new (although authentic) Rioja experience without the oak!
White peach and spices with taut acidity and a delicate, honeyed quality, neatly balanced out with a pronounced salty minerals. A wine of precision and poise!
An aromatic white wine with heaps of citrus notes like lychee and lime zest, hints of tropical fruit and just a touch melon. Bright acidity lingers on the finish to balance with residual sugar.
Pairs well with spicy foods!
From Oregon, USA.
On the palate the wine is light, brisk and incredibly easy to get along with!
Pierre is the definition of the small grower. He works alone, tending to a single 2-hectare parcel of young-vine Cabernet Franc in a beautiful walled garden in the heart of Bourgueil. Pierre has obtained his organic certification, which is aided no end by the vineyard’s seclusion; the sleepy village to one side of the walls and woodland to the other, meaning no risk of contamination from neighbouring growers who aren’t following the same practises.
Dedicating the Gran Cerdo label (which translates to Big Pig in Spanish) to the bank executives who wouldn't give him a loan to start his wine business, Gonzalo Grijalba has developed a bit of a cult following. He's extremely passionate about reclaiming the biodiversity of the earth he farms, and has eschewed more commercial practices involving pesticides and herbicides for biodynamic methods.
We also stock the Red tempranillo.
Crowd-pleaser, this suits most white wine lovers tastes.
Pear and floral aromas, soft, buttery mouth feel and notes of soft stone fruit with subtle hints of herbs and the Terroir d’Aniane from whence it came.

An elegant and crisp expression of Chenin Blanc. Citrus, delicate peach and apricot notes with just a subtle hint of honey and wild flowers. Well-structured with a refreshing, mineral finish. This organic orange wine is fresh and easy going!
A great introduction to skin contact wines if you haven’t tried it before.
It's bright and fresh with notes of peach and summer fruits, with a little grip.
Peppercorn spice and deep fruits leap from the glass, the texture of the wine is beautifully soft and silky, with integrated, lightly gripping tannic structure. There is a rusty, iron-like mineral quality beneath it all, that really shows itself in the long, stony finish.
